Technical
The shower tap by Heau harvests excess energy from previous showers to overcome the drop in temperature during shower startup. It has a unique hydraulic mechanism to do so and provides the user instant hot water.
Obviously, we want people to shower in safe conditions. To eliminate any risk, we work together and do extensive testing with a research institute connected with a Belgian University. The mechanism is designed in a way that no dead water zones occur. Each time you take a shower the system flushes with fresh water.
Yes, you do. The shower tap does require the external heat energy in a previous hot shower and does not heat the water.
Yes, you can! The instructions are very clear and all the required materials are included.
Yes, you can! Heau’s shower taps comply with the industry standard.
The water pressure should be between 1,5 bar and 7 bar. In developed countries, this will be the case in almost every household
The shower tap works independently from the heat source, so it is compatible with all heat sources.
Only an industry standard 1/2″ thread connector with hot and cold water is required.
