3 Simple Steps
Step 1. Verify

For our Therm-eau technology to deliver instant hot water, the pipe volume between your boiler and shower must be under 10 liters. For standard pipes, this equals a maximum distance of 30 meters for Copper 22/1 or Alpex 25/2.5.
Not sure? Do the "bucket test": Open your hot water tap fully and catch the initial cold water in a bucket.
Less than 10 liters? You’re ready for a Heau system!
More than 10 liters? Contact us for a custom solution.

We recommend a minimum temperature of 55°C for the incoming hot water. Higher temperatures will increase storage duration even more.
Regulations and Guidelines
We emphasize maintaining a minimum hot water temperature of 55°C, in accordance with NEN1006. For lower temperatures, your hot water circuit is not according to regulations and can cause issues within the entire circuit.
Temperature Stability
The hot water in the Therm-eau reservoir loses about 5°C per 24h at an ambient temperature of 20°C, retaining sufficient heat for at least 3 days. When the water temperature drops to 42°C, the heating element is activated to reheat the water.
Energy Storage
Higher incoming water temperatures enable greater energy storage capacity. This means longer periods of passive use (no electricity) before the heating element is activated.
For example, with incoming hot water at 65°C, you can enjoy up to 4 days of stored energy, still providing comfortably hot water at the start of your shower without using electricity.
When the water temperature drops below 42°C, the heating element automatically reactivates, ensuring you always have instant hot water whenever you need it.
